Fellow

Fellow members shall include any national board-certified or board-eligible physician assistant who is also a fellow member in good standing of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and who practices and/or resides in Pennsylvania. A fellow member has full voting privileges, shall be entitled to the privilege of the floor, and may hold any office.
New Graduate Fellow
1 Year $90 (non-renewable)
New Graduate Fellow members shall include any national board-certified or board-eligible PA who has graduated within the past 12 months, is a fellow member in good standing of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and who practices and/or resides in Pennsylvania. A fellow member has full voting privileges, shall be entitled to the privilege of the floor, and may hold any office.
Affiliate
1 Year $180 | 2 Years $315
Affiliate members shall include any national board-certified physician assistant or board-eligible physician assistant who does not choose to join the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and practices and/or resides in Pennsylvania. An affiliate member may vote on all issues except those which relate specifically to the AAPA. An affiliate member may not hold office or serve as a state or national delegate but may have the privilege of the floor.
New Graduate Affiliate

Student members shall include any student in good standing in a CAHEA, CAAHEP, ARC-PA, (or successor agency) approved physician assistant program. A student member may vote on all issues related to student representative elections and may hold a student board position if AAPA membership is maintained. Sustaining Members
1 Year $75
Sustaining members shall include any NCCPA certified or board eligible PA who does not practice within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and wishes to maintain membership in the PSPA. A sustaining member may have the privilege of the floor but may not hold office or serve as a state or national delegate and does not have voting privileges. This category is appropriate for most retired PAs.
Physician Member
1 Year $150
Physician members shall include any US Licensed Physician who wishes to associate with the PSPA. He/she shall have the privilege of the floor but shall not be entitled to vote or hold office.
Associate Member
1 Year $200
Associate members shall include any group practice, hospital, insurance company, pharmaceutical company, or person involved in the health care industry who is ineligible for any other categories and wishes to associate with the organization. These members are not entitled to the privilege of the floor, nor are they entitled to vote or hold office. PAs are not eligible to join this category.
Prospective PA Student
1 Year $30
Any high school or college student that is contemplating the physician assistant profession as his or her career. These members may not hold office and do not have voting privileges. Membership is for one year.
Honorary Members
Individuals who have rendered distinguished service to the Society or the PA profession. Such members shall be nominated by an active society member and approved by the board of directors within one year. Honorary members shall be entitled to the privilege of the floor but shall not be entitled to vote, hold office or serve as a state or national delegate. They shall be exempt from paying dues.
Physician / PA Team membership
1 Year $215
This joint-membership category is for any Physician-PA team that wishes to take advantage of the many benefits of membership. The physician member shall include any US Licensed Physician who wishes to associate with the PSPA. He/she shall have the privilege of the floor but shall not be entitled to vote or hold office. The PA members hall include any NCCPA certified or board eligible PA who practices and/or resides in Pennsylvania. If the PA member is also a fellow member in good standing of the AAPA they shall have full voting privileges, be entitled to the privilege of the floor, and may hold any office. If the PA member is not a member of the AAPA, they may vote on all issues except those which relate specifically to the AAPA. They may not hold office or serve as a state or national delegate.
