The PSPA invites you to attend the 46th PSPA Annual CME Conference in-person or online (virtual) as we present a hybrid conference, October 27- 30, 2021, at the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions hotel in Pocono Manor, PA. Family and friends are welcome to join you for some fun and relaxation at the indoor waterpark and spa.
We have a great line-up of speakers that will provide 26 hours of high-quality CME sessions and 10 two-hour workshops including topics such as suturing, heart sounds, human trafficking, and knee and shoulder exams. There will also be many networking opportunities between the in-person and virtual attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors. Exhibit hall hours are on Thursday, October 28th from 10:00 am – 3:30 pm and Friday, October 29th from 7:00 am – 12:00 pm. Click here to view or download the conference preliminary program.
Attendees will have access to CME in-person or via live-stream sessions. The live-stream sessions will be offered on-demand to in-person and virtual attendees after the conference so you can review a session or catch up on the sessions you may have missed due to a change in your schedule. Information about using the app will be sent to all attendees on October 20. The on-demand sessions will be available until April 15, 2022.
To provide even more flexibility, the PSPA is offering the option to change your registration type from in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person until Wednesday, October 11, 2021. If you need to make a change after October 11, send your request to email@example.com.
Every meeting detail is being reviewed to provide the most safe, contactless, and comfortable environment as possible. You can be confident that the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions hotel will provide clean, safe, and healthy spaces for you to feel completely at ease in their hotel, including the water park. Check out this link for details about the hotel’s safety plan. https://www.kalahariresorts.com/what-we-are-doing-to-ensure-a-safe-getaway/ The PSPA will follow and adjust to all CDC meeting protocols that may be in existence during the conference.
As of Memorial Day, all businesses, events, and venues can return to 100% capacity with the lifting of mitigation orders. As an additional step of precaution, the PSPA is requiring a waiver to be signed by each attendee and any guest for attendance to the conference. The waiver can be found on the registration web page for your review or in your preliminary program. You will be asked to check a box to demonstrate agreement during the registration process. If an attendee plans to bring a guest, the waiver will need to be printed from the PSPA web site or copied from the preliminary program, signed by the guest, and e-mailed to Susan DeSantis at firstname.lastname@example.org or faxed to (724) 836-4449. All waivers must be completed prior to arriving at registration. The alternative to signing the waiver is to attend the conference virtually.
The PSPA is looking forward to seeing you in-person or virtually as we come together to obtain high-quality CME, seek new products and services, and reunite with friends and colleagues. Questions can be emailed to email@example.com.

CME ACCREDITATION FOR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS
This conference has been approved for up to 26 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME for the clinical/professional sessions, 20 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME for the workshops, and 2 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME per forum for the Professional Development Forum and the Education Forum.
The NCCPA and the PSPA have worked together to reduce the time and effort associated with logging your conference hours for our Fall CME Conference. NCCPA has designed a special system whereby PAs can click on a unique link in their online NCCPA personal certification record at www.nccpa.net and select the sessions they attended from a master list of sessions that PSPA supplied to NCCPA. The PA can automatically apply those sessions wherever they need them, as long as the hours are earned in the correct logging window. Logging will be available starting November 8, 2021.
