PSPA Web Page Policy

PURPOSE OF THE POLICY:
The purpose of the web page is to disseminate information regarding the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants to PSPA members, practicing PAs, PA students, PA educators, employers and the general public. Material posted on the site shall have prior approval by the Board Administrator. The website will be used for Society business only and no personal solicitation will be permitted.
Pages included on the site are: About PSPA, membership, employment, government affairs, reimbursement, CME, tools for PAs and committees. Additional pages may be with the consent of the Board of Directors.
POLICY:
The PSPA will maintain an active and informative website.
RESPONSIBILITY:
The PSPA webmaster, Technology Committee Chair and Board Administrator will oversee the content and development of the PSPA website www.pspa.net.
PROCEDURES:
- The webmaster will maintain the website continually to keep the site current and user friendly.
- The webmaster will post information / materials on the site in conjunction with all board of directors, committees, regional representatives, liaisons and AAPA House of Delegates and with the approval of the Board of Directors.
- All information will be reviewed for appropriateness, confidentiality violations and violations of the American Academy of Physician Assistants’ Code of Ethics.
- The webmaster may develop new pages as the need arises with BOD approval.
